The Touchfire iPad Keyboard fits right over the iPad’s on-screen keyboard and is completely transparent, so you can always see the keys underneath it.
It is soft and supple if you swipe through it horizontally – you can use your iPad right through it. Yet it is a stiff enough 3-D keyboard to let you rest your fingers on the home row keys without accidentally triggering the touch screen. When you type, the Touchfire keyboard responds with just the right amount of resistance and spring-back to feel like a lively and responsive keyboard. Amazing!
When you want it out of the way, simply fold it down. The corner magnets keep it neatly folded below the screen.
Works With All 9.7″ iPads – iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3 and iPad 4
The Touchfire keyboard attaches to the iPad 2/3/4 using the magnets built into those tablets. It’s non-slip bottom keeps it in place on an iPad 1. Here’s a video showing how it works with the iPad 1:
What’s In the Box?
The Touchfire keyboard comes with a pair of cover magnets, which help secure it magnetically to your iPad’s cover when you aren’t using it. This makes it easy to keep itwith you all the time.
The Touchfire keyboard is flexible, so it can even roll up with the cover.
You also get a thin storage case, should you want to store the Touchfire keyboard off your iPad.
Rugged and Easy to Clean
The Touchfire keyboard is made of pure, high-performance silicone rubber. It handles the rigors of travel with ease. To clean it, simply run it under tap water and towel dry.
Will the Touchfire Keyboard Work With My iPad Case?
The Touchfire keyboard was specifically designed with Apple’s Smart Cover and Smart Case in mind, and the black Apple case for iPad 1. But it will also work with any case that leaves enough room on the surface of the iPad for the Touchfire keyboard. It will also work with cases that cover the iPad surface but are thin enough to allow Touchfire’s magnets to hold.
How about Screen Protectors?
We do not recommend using a screen protector with the Touchfire keyboard. Some screen protectors are thin enough to work well with Touchfire, but some are not. Do I need a screen protector?
